William H. Beathard, CIC, began his insurance career January, 1977. He continued in his grandfather's footsteps and took over the reins of operating the Dwyer Insurance Agency, started by Paul M. Dwyer, in 1931.

Bill, still attending The Ohio State University, worked full time at the agency while finishing his degree. He graduated in 1979 with a BSBA, majoring in Insurance & Risk Management.

Believing that education is extremely important to the insurance industry, Bill continued his studies and was designated a certified insurance counselor in May, 1983. In 2008, he was recognized by The Society of Certified Insurance Counselors for over 25 years of commitment to the insurance industry.

Bill is now the sole owner/operator for The Dwyer Insurance Agency, which is the oldest "family operated" agency in Madison County. They write a full line of insurance for property, liability, auto, home, business, life & health, bonds and group insurance.
